    1. Thank you Valerianna. I wrote the words in 2007, after seeing those green backlit waves...then had to wait until this year to see it again....and, thankfully have the camera at hand!
Happy Equinox and Autumn in your beautiful woods.

    2. Helen -- we are together in spirit -- I realized today that autumn wind gusts sound just like ocean waves! xo

    3. YES!!!! I've noticed that too....as they shhhhh through the leaves....it's doing it right now as I write :~)))

Both ocean waves and wind through leaves also sound like our Welsh double L sound....LL, where the tip of the tongue is curled behind the upper teeth, and then you blow!!! Non Welsh speakers find it very difficult.

      Together in spirit ~

  6. hey hey Cindy :~))))

We cancelled our internet last month, and only use the library computers periodically. They have a filter which won't let me sign in to my blog!!

I do not miss the internet at all....except for all of you and Jude. I am writing a lot more letters ~ snail mail ~ which I was hoping would happen :~)

A kind young man got hold of a handful of walnut husks for me, and I came across the most lovely copper pot; we also installed a woodburner, so I got some dyeing done. I was so happy :~))) They came out more yellow than brown, but so subtle and homespun and beautiful.

Big love to you and yours...hope you are all well.

    Helen x
